Q: What is a Fitness Boot Camp?

A fitness boot camp is a great new way to challenge your body and reach your goals in a fun, refreshing outdoor setting. Boot camp is a type of outdoor group exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with various forms of interval training and strength training. While there are a variety of styles of fitness boot camps, Waterfront Fitness bootcamps are designed in a way that encourages you but at the same time pushes you more than if you'd normally push yourself. Our Boot Camps are designed to make make you fit, lose some weight and encourage you on the way, without the traditional 'in your face yelling'. We've kept all the important parts of Personal Training and added the fun parts of outdoor group training. Our Boot Camps are held in gorgeous waterfront parks.


Q: What if I'm not very physically fit?

Boot Camp is for beginner to advanced fitness levels. As long as you have no complications from injury or illness you will survive. We cater for individual fitness level differences. The fitness gains you will see are amazing!!! People start off not being able to run a mile and end up wanting to run a marathon. Significant fitness increase is 100% guaranteed!


Q: I have been working out for years and consider myself to be quite fit, will I still get anything out of a Waterfront Fitness Bootcamp?

Yes, most definitely! If you’re a long time fitness enthusiast our specialized trainers along with other members of the group will push you, to reach performance levels not possible had you chosen to work out alone. You will personally be given harder challenges by the trainers even in a group environment, so no matter how fit you are you will be pushed to your limits. You may be fit but Waterfront Fitness will make you even fitter!

Q: What types of exercises are included in the program?

Exercises may include but are not limited to: power walking, jogging (optional), lunges, squats, pushups & various other cardio- vascular drills and games. Core conditioning, short distance running, muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, sport yoga, fitness kick boxing, sport drills, obstacle courses, small hills, surprises, and much more!


Q: When does the next Waterfront Fitness Boot Camp Start?

Q: What do I need to bring?

Wear Comfortable sports clothes, supportive joggers and socks. You'll need to bring a full size towel &/or an exercise mat along with plenty of water to each training session. A hat and sunscreen is also recommended. We also insit you bring a positive and energetic attitude. Boxing gloves are recommended also as alot of our classes will incorporate some cardio-boxing activities. You can buy exercise mats or boxing gloves at most sporting good stores, or alternatively we can supply one for you at our cost price. Hand weights are optional but not necessary.


Q: Do we still train if it’s raining?

Yes, we still train in wet weather as long as it is safe to do so. If grounds are deemed unsafe due to weather conditions and a suitable alternative venue cannot be found the session will be deemed postponed and attempted to be rescheduled to another date.


Q: Can I still train if I have an injury / condition?

This all depends on what injury / condition you have and is a case by case situation. A doctor’s clearance may be required depending on the circumstances. If you are able to train but limited to what you can do, alternative exercises may be given by your trainers so as you can still participate. Clients that can only do low impact activity can still achieve amazing results


Q: What can I achieve from attending a Waterfront Fitness Bootcamp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body.


Q: What is the cost (investment in my health) of a Waterfront Fitness Bootcamp?

We offer two(2) Bootcamp package options. The first is a 4 week "Easy Start" program consisting of 3 x 1hr sessions per week for 4 weeks. The cost of this package is $175! Alternatively you can commit to an 8 week bootcamp "challenge" which also consists of 3 x 1hr sessions per week. This package will give you even better value at just $300. Where else can you get specialized fitness instruction for such incredible value? Personal training packages typically cost $50 to $100 per hour and other boot camp companies offer similar 4 week programs for $250+. This is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

Q: I feel a little nervous about getting started, I have never done anything like this before.

A: Many new clients feel that way to begin with – it's completely normal. We generally find that after you meet with your trainer for the first time, you will feel exceptionally comfortable with our positive attitudes and encouraging training approach. We are guided by a simple passion for helping people – we thrive by educating clients and designing programs that take them well beyond their goals, beyond what they ever thought was possible. We're here to support you and bring out your best in health, in fitness, in mind and in body. That's our promise and commitment to you. Q: How do I get started?

Once you have decided which Boot Camp program you'd like to attend head on over to our Registration Page. Here you will be required to fill out your personal Information including a medical history questionaire. This is required to be filled out before you can attend any classes. Payment is also required before attending, we recommend making payment at the time of your registration. The Registration process can be done using our online forms and secure online payment methods (which is our preferred method) or you can print out the registration and manually fill it out, instructions are provided on the registration page.

How to attend a Boot Camp / Group Fitness class

Before attending any class you must register yourself with us by completing the Online Registration Form.

Registration Procedure: 

  1. Complete the online form entirely, making sure to carefully answer all questions and sign the waiver.
  2. If you have any questions before registering, Please send us an email to: info@waterfrontfitness.com
  3. Once you submit your registration form you will be taken to the payment options page where you can purchase your package online right away using our secure payment methods or pay on the day using cash only. (Online payment is preferred option and will help gaurentee your spot in the class)
  4. Print and save receipt, this is your proof of purchase. We will also have a list of all registered members
  5. Now you can attend ANY boot camp / class at the location of your choice.

 How to Participate:

  1. If you're already registered, present your 'Purchase Receipt' at the "check-in/meeting" location
  2. Show up 10mins early on your first day and introduce yourself.
  3. Late arrivals may not enter after the 10min warm-up has been completed, unless there is prior arrangements.
  4. Participation is not permitted without completing the required Pre-Activity Readiness Questionaire.
  5. Participation is not permitted if no payment has been received for the desired class.

Refunds/Cancellation/Credits:

No refunds will be given for purchased packages. We believe that once you have decided to make the committment in order to get fit and healthy it is upto us to hold you to that committment. We would hate to see any individual make a regretful decision to leave us so we've simply eliminated this option for you.

Where ever a pre-class sign up is required Participants are able to withdraw with atleast 48hrs notice of the scheduled start date and will not forfeit any sessions. However if you have pre-signed up to attend a given class and do not show and/or have not given the required 48hrs prior notice you will be subject to forfeit that session. This is due to the fact that some classes may be size limited and if you are unable to attend then we would like to have the opportunity to be able to fill your position in the class with somebody else. No credit will be given to persons who withdraw from pre-sign up classes on day of or after the scheduled start date.

Group Exercise FREE TRIAL Class Policy:

Individuals may attend ONE(1) group exercise class for FREE. Free Trial passes may be obtained by first registering just the same way as everybody else (procedure explained above), but instead of purchasing a package at the Payment page, simply email us instead and let us know which class you would like to attend. Clients that obtain a FREE TRIAL pass and decide to upgrade to any of our Standard Pricing Boot Camp or Group Exercise package options in the same week as their trial will receive a FREE pair of Boxing Gloves as a special welcome gift.
